Cookies are little text files saved by your browser and thus stored on your computer. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses.
For the functionalities of the page “Locations”, our website uses a so-called “session cookie”, e.g. to make it technically possible to use the interactive location search by means of the embedded map (GoogleMap) and thus display the respective user-dependent search results, or in order to individually save the language selection of the user in the search results. This cookie will be deleted automatically after the end of your browser session, i.e. when you close/exit the browser.
You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Server log files
The webhost of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser also automatically transmits. This information includes
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request

This data will not be combined with other data sources.
Data processing is based on Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR, which permits data processing for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
3. Plugins und Tools
This website uses the map service Google Maps via an API.
This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
When using this service, it is necessary to call up respective programme libraries and map contents from external Google servers also in the USA. At this moment, we do not know whether Google logs and further processes these server requests. However, we do assume that the Google data privacy notes are valid to this effect. Therefore, it is to be assumed that your IP address valid at the time of your location search at »Changing places« will be stored with Google for a period of several months.
More information on how user data is dealt with can be found in the Google data privacy statement.
